Elms as Method is a compilation of short stories by Michael Leung that relate to political landscapes, art workers and disturbed ecologies. The stories were written in Hong Kong, Osaka, Stockholm and the Pyrenees between 2018 and 2023. The collection deviates from Michael’s usual practice of making pocket-sized zines that are usually sold at Hong Kong’s hourly minimum wage. This assortment assembles to help pay for his rents throughout this summer. Thank you for your support.
